The Amherst Skating Club is a United States Figure Skating (USFS) affiliated club with amateur skaters, both children and adults, non-adult members including parents, coaches, and judges.  Our parent organization, the USFS governs amateur figure skating programs in the United States.  Our home ice is the Northtown Ice Center; a four-rink facility located in Amherst, New York.  We are a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting excellence in all aspects of figure skating.

Learn to Skate

The Amherst Skating Club offers the LEARN TO SKATE USA Basic Skills program, providing group instruction to hundreds of enrollees annually. We hold classes in basic skating skills, figure skating, hockey skating skills, pre-school and adult/teen only classes. All classes are scheduled at the Northtown Center at Amherst.

Figure Skate

The Amherst Skating Club provides instruction, practice and skill development of boys and girls of all ages in the sport of figure skating. Our Club has multiple teachers able to assist our skater accomplish his or her skating goals.
